Deposit Requirement
To reserve your date, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required via e-transfer.
Allergen Information
The cake ingredients and machinery may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. Baking Horizon is not responsible for any adverse effects of allergic reactions. The customer is responsible for notifying the guests.
Image Usage
We reserve the right to use any image of a product made by us for publication at a later date.
Icing Colors
Icing colors tend to change with time, temperature, and humidity, and dark colors such as black and red may stain teeth.
Pickup Timing
Please be on time for pickups as we may have other orders or commitments. An extra charge will apply for late pickups over an hour.
Product Inspection
It is the responsibility of the customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the product gets to its destination safely and is stored as per our instructions to achieve the best results for taste and quality.
Post-Delivery Responsibility
Baking Horizon is not responsible for any damage to the cake after delivery/setup is complete. Cakes are heavy and require a climate-controlled environment (at or below 75 degrees).
Order Validity
An order will not be considered valid until a deposit is received, and the deposit must be received at least 15 days prior to the agreed-upon deadline.
Final Balance Payments and Pickups
The balance is due on or before the pickup date and before the product leaves the premises. If paying by cash, correct change is appreciated. If paying by e-transfer, the money needs to hit the account before the product leaves the premises.
Pickup and Delivery
All cakes must be picked up unless a predetermined delivery is agreed upon by both parties (additional fees will apply).
